鑿打ち、底攫い
「プツリ」と音を立てて食い付く鑿の先。
スポンジのように柔らかい内側とは違い、昆虫の外殻のように硬い杉の外皮。
良く研がれた刃物を持ってしても鏡面に加工することが難しい。
経験と理想と、着地点が幾重にもかさなり、ただひたすらに刃物の先端で起こり続ける事象に意識は溶け込んでいく。
思考は単一となりやがて糸のように細くなり、フッと消える。
Chisel strikes, bottoms out
The tip of the chisel bites into the wood with a "snap" sound.
Unlike the soft, sponge-like interior, the outer bark of the cedar is as hard as an insect's shell.
Even with a well-sharpened blade, it is difficult to polish it to a mirror finish.
Experience, ideals, and landing points overlap in countless layers, and the mind melts into the events that continue to occur at the tip of the blade.
Thoughts become single and thin, until they disappear in a flash.
