はつり、整形された梁は算段の後、ホゾ穴等の加工を終えて、各部材へと光付けされていきます。
その際、「胴墨」と呼ばれる水平に墨入れされた線を元に高さを割り出し、その形を相手に写していきます。
最終的には「口引き」という道具で隙間なく仕事をしていきます。
Hikari-tuke
After the beams are milled and shaped, the mortise and tenon holes are worked on and each component as scribing.
The height is calculated based on a horizontally inked line called the "dōsumi" and the shape is transferred to the other part.
Finally, a tool called a "kuchihiki" is used to ensure there are no gaps.
