光付け
丸太をはつり、多角形になった物を相手取り合いの方へピタリと合わせるために「光付け」と言う技法を用います。
多角形化しているので直線で構成された接線を墨していきます。
そのため、前述で説明したように、光付ける面は直線である方が仕事がしやすいのです。
相手大入れで受けてもらう方から型板に面の線を移し、それを受け木の面に移していきます。
「痩せ」や「締まり」を考慮すると、曲尺（さしがね）の墨への被りを塩梅よく調節して墨一本、二本といった具合に「きき」を調整してやるのがよいようです。
Hikarituke
A technique called "Hikarituke" is used to cut a log and fit the polygonal shape perfectly to the opponent.
Since it is polygonal, the connecting lines are made up of straight lines.
As explained above, it is easier to work on the surface to be lit than if it were straight lines.
The lines of the surface are transferred from the receiving side to the template, and then transferred to the wooden surface.
If the "thinness" and "tightness" are adjusted appropriately, it seems best to adjust the amount of ink that the curve (sashigane) covers and adjust the "kiki" to a length that is like one or two ink sticks.
