樹皮を纏ったままの木をそのまま建築に取り込むと言う試みはいつから始まったのでしょうか。
有機的な「ゆらぎ」を含んだ自然界に存在する物は不思議な魅力を放っています。
それらを組み合わせると言う行為はとても難しく（技術的にしても、意匠として成立させるにしても）過去から現在にかけて数多くの試みが続けられているのだろうと想像に難くないです。
大工はやればやるほど面白い。
