解体の最中に大工によって残された墨書に出会う事があります。
明治21年7月吉日。
1888年ということは136年前の建物ですね。
市中大工とまでは読めますが、その続きは梁を外さないと見えませんね。
Ink writing
During demolition, you may come across ink writing left by carpenters.
Auspicious day in July, 1888.
The building is 136 years old.
You can read "Shichu carpenter", but you can't see the rest of it unless you remove the beams.
