蓑甲、鬼
修行時代にお世話になった工務店 @shintouj でのお手伝いの仕事です。
お寺や神社の屋根の端、落ち込んでいる場所を「蓑甲」といいます。
櫛形の「骨板」と言う下地の上に十分にしなる大きさの棒状の下地を敷き詰めていきます。
その後、天端を鉋で均していきます。
鬼板は屋根の一番上の「棟」と呼ばれる部分の端に取り付けられる部材です。
鏡の部分と鰭の部分とで成り、渦状の波を模した彫刻が施されることがあります。
残念ながら、取り付けた状態の写真がみあたりませんでした。
Mino-ko, Oni
The edge of the roof of a temple or shrine, the sunken area, is called "mino-ko."
A rod-shaped base that is large enough to bend is laid on top of a comb-shaped base called "bone board."
The top edge is then smoothed with a plane.
Oni boards are components that are attached to the edge of the top part of the roof, called the "ridge."
It consists of a mirror part and a fin part, and is sometimes carved to resemble a swirling wave.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a photo of it installed.
