いつからか、杣耕社では建具も自前で誂えるようになりました。
建具をはめ込む木枠は勿論大工で施工する訳ですから、詳細をよく把握しています。
建具屋さんとの折衝を省けるため、スムーズに取り付けまで進めます。
また、建築を理解する過程で弟子達にとって「採寸」、「木出し」、「木取り」、「木造り」、「墨付け」、「仕上げ」、「組み立て」、「取り付け調整」は建築の規模を縮小した良き技術向上の機会となっています。
家具としての要素も近しいものがあるため、家具注文の際の仕事にも役にたつようです。

At some point, Somakosha began making its own doors and windows .
The wooden frames into which the fittings are fitted are of course constructed by the carpenters, so they have a good understanding of the details.
This eliminates the need for negotiations with the door maker, allowing the installation to proceed smoothly.
Also, for the apprentices, in the process of understanding architecture, "measuring," "wood cutting," "wood framing," "marking," "finishing," "assembly," and "installation and adjustment" are good opportunities to improve their skills on a smaller scale.
As some of the elements of furniture are similar, this seems to be useful when working on ordering furniture.
