登り梁を太鼓面以外の六面をはつっていきます。
材料の直上からマサカリを振り落とすため、実際のはつり飛ばされる面の角度が初めのうちは測り辛いのです。
下から見上げるはつり肌がいまから楽しみです。
Hewing
We're going to hew away the six sides of the climbing beam, except for the drum-shaped side.
The axe is dropped from directly above the material, so at first it's hard to gauge the angle of the surface that will actually be chiseled away.
I'm already looking forward to looking up at the chiseled surface from below.
